Ordering

• With Skimania ordering is easy. You can:
  
  1. Order online safely and securely using the “Buy Now” option on via website
  2. Simply telephone one of our customer support lines on 0844 979 8585
• To place an order online, simply select the product or products you would like to buy (including size and colour where approproate), click "Buy Now" and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked for delivery and payment details. All online transactions are highly secure and protected by the latest SSL encryption technology to offer a total guarantee in safeguarding personal and payment information. Once complete, you will be sent an email to confirm that we have received your order. The email represents the contract between ourselves and you the customer. We keep an electronic and a printed copy of this contract that can be accessed by ourselves to check order or delivery information where appropriate. This can be printed and serves as your confirmation. This email confirmation will be created automatically and will provide all necessary order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order.
• When you place an order for a product using web or phone, you are contracting to buy it for the price stated at time of ordering, subject to these terms and all other terms found elsewhere on this site. To print these terms and the terms contained within the "Returns" sections of this website, simply select the "Print" option in your browser.
• Accepted payment methods are currently credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch/Maestro, Solo, Amex and Electron), PayPal (email your order to paypal@emania.co.uk and we will send you a PayPal invoice - payments to payments@emania.co.uk) or cheque/postal order by post.
• Skimania may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its discretion. In these cases, no monies will be taken. In all cases, credit and debit cards are never charged until despatch of goods.
• Whilst many items are advertised for next day delivery and are shown in stock, the website does not define sizes and colours. If you require the goods guaranteed next day, please telephone first to check we have your actual size and colour in stock. Whilst stock items are normally sent same day, Skimania is reliant on the Royal Mail First Class “Signed For” service. The majority of items sent using this service arrive next day though the service does not guarantee next day delivery. We do not offer any compensation for late or non-arrival of orders. By placing an order with Skimania, you agree to these terms and conditions. E&OE: We do our very best to ensure that everything is complete and accurate but sometimes mistakes in entering product details and stock levels can occur.
• If placing an order for a Christmas present you have until the end of January to make a return. Please enter "Christmas present" in the 'special instructions' section on the wesite when placing the order.

HM Customs and Excise

If you are a tourist from outside the European Union, you are able to benefit from Value Added Tax relief on your Skimania purchase whilst in the UK under the Retail Export Scheme.

• The scheme works in the following way.
  
  1. We charge VAT at the point of sale. Our VAT Number is 567132341.
  
  2. Ask us for a Retail Export Scheme certificate to be included with your goods. (Please call 0844 979 8585 after placing order & quote your 4 digit order number).
  
  3. Get this certificate stamped by HM Customs & Excise at your point of departure from the country. This must be within three months of the purchase date.
  
  4. Return the form to us for your VAT refund. Your refund will be applied to the same credit card as was used to make the purchase less our £6 administration charge for undertaking this service.
